This sculpture has come from within me, as I have worked a lot with the theme of motherhood. I have a large family, and the idea of the "joy of motherhood" hasn't always been as wonderful as everyone talks about. There is so much that a mother is expected to fulfill, and her own desires and needs are often set aside.

Den här skulpturer har kommit från mig själv då jag har arbetat mycket med moderskapet. Jag har en stor familj och det fantastiska moderskapet har inte alltid varit så fantastiskt som alla talar om "baby lyckan". Det finns så mycket hos modern som hon ska uppfylla och hennes egen längtan och behov sätts på sidan.
