The piece I Will Never Feel Ready originated from a small, postcard-sized painting that I later chose to enlarge. Unhappy with the result I continued adding geometrical elements to it.

The pieces The Past Dictates the Future and I Will Never Feel Ready are part of a series I call Scattering. These works are for most part constructed environments, not taken directly from reality, but an expression for conceptual spatiality. In these paintings, I want to express spatiality rather than depict it. My intention is that the composition and the way the geometrical shapes are placed, will invite the viewer for a “visual walk”, always looking for new angles and connections between the shapes.
