The series Structures of Entertainment is a work that addresses the mechanisms of consumerism. Google's 3D simulations of the world, visualizes how our Western society, over the past century, has largely been structured based on our needs to transport ourselves to and from different places for the purpose of consumption. The images may be perceived as collages, but nothing has been added or moved in the original image. Instead, everyday phenomena in urban environments have been isolated by masking certain parts of the images. The images are directly printed on aluminum, giving them a more painted than photographic appearance.
