Edition 1/3 is sold. Additional editions can be produced.
In the artwork "After Image" (2022), Gölin has allowed a machine vision to create a mask for the parts of the image that it deemed should be highlighted. Like the darkroom, the mask is marked in Photoshop's interface with a red colour. Instead of utilizing the machine-generated mask for adjustments, Gölin has included this interface, the communication between the machine vision and the artist, as part of the artwork.
The red mask that conceals the subject symbolizes how we capture our surroundings through photography without truly seeing what is happening.
