This series of monotype paintings explores imagined skies, often unfolding across a horizon or seascape. Each work is made through an experimental process that allows no repetition, resulting in singular, unrepeatable impressions. Shifting tones and playful gestures suggest grains of colour and drifting forms, fleeting impressions that hover between recognition and abstraction. Their value lies less in depiction than in the records of the artist’s imagination made visible, transient moments held in pigment inviting the viewer to imagine.
