As part of Stockholm Art Week, Paula Tove Alderin will be in the gallery to present her exhibition SHED / Horizons of Rawness.

Visitors are warmly invited to experience the exhibition in the presence of the artist. These occasions offer a unique opportunity to encounter the work through conversation and shared reflection, as Alderin offers insight into her practice and the ideas that shape it.

An Evening of Sound and Space
Saturday, April 25, 2026
7:00–9:00 pm

cellist Mattias Rodrick
percussionist Mika Takehara
artist Paula Tove Alderin

Please join us for an evening where sound enters into dialogue with space, texture, and form. Curated by percussionist Mika Takehara, the concert is developed in close dialogue with Paula Tove Alderin’s exhibition SHED / Horizons of Rawness. Together, they create a shifting landscape where music and visual art intersect. Alderin will present her work as an integrated part of the concert.

Cellist Mattias Rodrick, based in Stockholm, works within contemporary music in close collaboration with composers. His practice explores the expressive range of the cello—from intimate sonorities to expansive textures, including encounters with choral sound. Alongside his performance work, he curates platforms such as the Schumanniad Festival at Musikaliska and Musik i Marabouparken at Marabouparken Konsthall, fostering spaces where new work and established traditions meet.

RSVP here if you can join us, though you are also welcome to drop in. The concert will begin at 7 pm, and will be an organic performance, with time to experience the exhibition and to speak with the artist and the musicians.
