Shaped by heat, pressure, and time, the objects give physical presence to gestures of holding, containing, and preserving.

For Stockholm Creative Edition 2026, Galleri Duerr presents a curated selection of Swedish glass and ceramic artists exploring the space between design and art. The exhibition is shown in parallel with Tove Mauritzson’s Friends Forever (15.01–14.02.2026).

Mauritzson’s paintings unfold intuitively, drawing from family life, daily routines, and close relationships. Memory and imagination blur into tenderly distorted scenes marked by care, habit, and vulnerability, where the familiar becomes quietly charged.

In dialogue with this painted world, the participating artists work in glass and ceramics to extend similar concerns through material form. Shaped by heat, pressure, and time, the objects give physical presence to gestures of holding, containing, and preserving. As tactile counterpoints to Mauritzson’s scenes, the works reflect how relationships—like objects—are formed through repetition, use, and exposure, balancing fragility with resilience.

Participating artists include Anna Mlasowsky, who is creating new works specifically for the exhibition, as well as Alma Duran, Caroline Harrius, Evelina Dovsten, Fanny Bylund, Fanny Ollas, Isa Andersson, Josefin Bravo, Linn Sjöstedt, Margherita Pozzali, and Rosita Ståhl.
